The Flemish Institute for Scientific Research (VITO) implements client-driven research projects and develops innovative products and processes. The multidisciplinary skills and technological know-how of more than 700 researchers make this organization a crossroad of technology, where state-of-the-art technologies are successfully blended into practical applications. The business unit Separation and Conversion Technology (SCT) has organized its strategic research program around the theme ‘Sustainable Chemistry’. For many years, the unit is actively engaged in research programs in India and actively collaborate with Indian research institutes, universities and industry in the areas of biomass, biowaste, wastewater treatment and bioproduction.
VITO will make use of its network, knowledge and experience on EU India S&T cooperation and as a WP5 task leader deliver a benchmark and SWOT analyses of defined existing cooperations. Another task is to organize a workshop in Antwerp.

Europa Media is a non-profit organization established in 2003 with the objective to compile and disseminate information about the activities and programmes of the EU to potential stakeholders in Europe and worldwide. Over the past years Europa Media has become Central-Eastern Europe’s leading independent provider of factual information, conferences and workshops on EU programmes, with focus on FP6 and FP7 funding opportunities.
Europa Media will make use of its communication expertise and develop the dissemination material and project website. Another important role will be to provide its knowledge and experience on EU India S&T cooperation. EM will support the dialogue with other projects and network and collection of information developed.
